Hichilema Campaigns in Siavonga, Cites Cost-of-Living Gains

President Hakainde Hichilema held a campaign event in Siavonga District, Southern Province, as part of his nationwide tour ahead of next month’s general election.

Addressing residents, Hichilema said his government remains focused on reducing the cost of living, and that Zambians would begin to see the results of ongoing economic measures. He pointed to development projects undertaken during his administration as reasons for continued public support.

The president said his party has received strong reception across nine of the ten provinces visited so far on the campaign trail, and called on residents of Siavonga to extend similar support.

He closed his remarks by linking his party’s continued leadership to broader themes of peace, security, and national development.
