LUSAKA, Zambia — President Hakainde Hichilema this afternoon received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Zambia, His Excellency Han Jing, at Community House in Lusaka.
During the meeting, President Hichilema and Ambassador Han exchanged views on a range of matters concerning the longstanding bilateral relationship between Zambia and China.
The engagement reaffirmed the importance both countries attach to continued dialogue and cooperation.
President Hichilema described the talks as part of the enduring relations between the two nations.
“We exchanged views on a range of matters concerning the longstanding bilateral relations between our two countries,” the President said.
The courtesy call forms part of ongoing diplomatic engagement between Zambia and the People’s Republic of China.
